I dunno ducats. Some of Phils first few incarnations in 99 ( Phish, Jorma, DNB and more ALL with Kimock of course ), and even some of the Other Ones stuff ( again with Kimock ) were a helluva lot more inspired that the real band had played in years. At LEAST since 91 if not way before. Just my opinion.

the show i saw with dylan as opener and paul barrere and billy payne of little feat, with robben ford on guitar, was really good (99? at shoreline). they did feat meets dead on coltrane's my favorite things - standout of the show. Last good memory of any of those guys as far as seeing them perform live (and I've seen my share of ratdog).
